Cookie Policy

The short version

TossWheel sets one cookie, and it remembers which language you chose. Self-hosted Umami provides cookieless usage analytics, so there are no analytics cookies, advertising cookies or third-party cookies.

The cookie

PARAGLIDE_LOCALE	Remembers your selected language, so the site opens in the same language next time.	About 400 days, or until you clear it.

That is the whole list. It is a functional cookie: without it the site still works, it just forgets which language you picked.

What we use instead of cookies

Everything else the site remembers is kept in your browser's local storage, which never travels with a request the way a cookie does. It stays on this device, and clearing your site data clears it.

tosswheel:item-media	Pictures and per-entry sounds you attached.
tosswheel:class-lists	Class lists saved on the classroom page.
theme	Light or dark.

None of it is uploaded, and there is no account it could be attached to.

Managing all of it

Your browser can delete cookies and site data for a site, and doing that here clears both the language cookie and everything in the table above. Nothing breaks: the wheels go back to their defaults.

If you want to keep your saved wheels while clearing everything else, export them first — the backup panel under Saved on this device writes them to a file you can import again later or on another machine.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the top changes with it.
